For over 25 years, Cliff Creel was the President and Chief Technology Officer of Savant Software, Inc., a company he co-founded.  In 2008, Creel Consulting, LLC acquired the assets of Savant with Cliff continuing as the President.

During his long tenure at Savant, Cliff guided the development of financial software for the brokerage industry.  This included the international award winning TopVest™ application for analyzing securities.  The Savant Investor Series™, a comprehensive system of software applications for the serious investor, was called the "Cadillac of investment software" by the New York times.

After serving as a nuclear submarine officer, Cliff received a Ph.D. from M.I.T. in Chemical Physics.  He then joined Shell Development Company in Houston, Texas where he managed polymer research and development.

In 1981, when the personal computer industry was just beginning and the original IBM PC was introduced to the market, Savant Software, Inc. was formed to take advantage of this new market.

Creel Consulting now continues developing software, primarily for the brokerage, insurance, tax and transportation industries.  Cliff also provides management consulting and seminars in software development practice.
